Q: Somehow my computer’s entire iTunes library got erased.  Is there a way to transfer my files from the iPod back to the library?

- Walter

A: For various copyright and business reasons, Apple doesn’t provide a simple way for you to transfer your music back from iPod to computer. However, it is possible to accomplish this, either manually or using third-party software. This thread in the iLounge forums explains several methods for getting your music back. You can also follow the iPod 201 tutorial Copying Music from iPod to Computer.
