Backstage: Back from vacation

Now that I’m back from vacation, there are four items just waiting in the ol’ review queue: iLeath’s new iPod mini case, Griffin’s EarJams, Matias’ new clear iPod Armor mini, and the Power Users’ review of the Danger Sidekick II. As a preliminary note on the new SK2 review, the device held up beautifully in Las Vegas, providing a highly convenient travel resource wherever I went.
And regular Backstage updates will hopefully return in short order, too. On a related note, we’ve been trying to figure out how to get some Backstage-related links up on the main page so that people know when it was last updated.

2 questions:
1) When will you reveal that “secret”?
2) Is there any chance of ipodlounge being able to review Tunewear’s Icewear case for 4G ipods in the next few weeks? I realise you’ll probably be reviewing the four listed above, but you haven’t reviewed many 4G cases yet.

The ‘secret’ was Griffin’s PodPod. I truthfully didn’t expect that it would take -that long- to reveal, and I tried to hint a few times in comment threads that it wasn’t anything huge. Sorry that it got built up so much b/c of the delay.
We’re going to review 4G cases on an “as received” basis, and we’ve actually just gotten in a whole bunch of new stuff to add to the queue. Tunewear’s Icewear isn’t one of the items… but you could e-mail Tunewear and tell them to send, if you really want to see it reviewed quickly. ^_^

I bet you feel goofy for accidentally hyping a $10 hunk of foam! :-D
Glad to have you back, Jeremy.

Well, I like to think that intent counts for something.
If so, I didn’t -intend- to hype it up. But still, it works well, and I do like it. Glad to be back. And great work on your 101s Jerrod.

Well I was bored so I sent Tunewear an email but they haven’t replied yet, so I figured if they can’t be bothered to reply then I can’t be bothered to boost their products so I’ll get an evo2.
