Life wouldn’t be as fun at iLounge if we stood still. So with the Buyers’ Guide finished, the Delta Project has begun.
Q: What’s the Delta Project?
A: We can’t tell you quite yet. But we chose the name intentionally. And it’s neither the site redesign we have been working on, nor the other interesting thing that we’ll be announcing in the next couple of days.
Q: Why bother announcing it, then?
A: We’re not announcing it, yet. This is iLounge Backstage, so we’re just giving our faithful readers a heads up that something big is in the works. And to the extent possible, we’re taking requests, so if there’s something you’d like to see from us in the near future, respond in comments to this posting.
Comments
If you have a comment, news tip, advertising inquiry, or coverage request, a question about iPods or accessories, or if you sell or market products, read iLounge's Comments + Questions policies before posting, and fully identify yourself if you do. We will delete comments containing advertising, astroturfing, trolling, personal attacks, offensive language, or other objectionable content, then ban and/or publicly identify violators. Wondering why we're talking about something other than iPods? Check the Archives: Backstage has been here and kicking it since 2004.

and for a guess, since Delta represents “a change in” it speaks with reference to something that will be getting a big revamp in the lounge….

How about splitting the lounge so newbies have a place that takes them DIRECTLY to iPod 101? Either that or give them a big honkin button right in the middle of the home page.

Although it’s not any of the suggestions so far, I’m curious, what sort of forum?
BTW, Mijman, you should check your email box - I tried to respond to your earlier e-mail and all responses bounced.

So we’re notifyed of an event that we don’t know about, but we know that it will come because we’re notified of it, and there’s another anounced event that we don’t know about ...
Maybe it’s a chat client ...
Or are avatars coming back?

you’re all wrong, the “delta team” connotation for me sounds like a breakthrough deal with apple (giveaways from the source itself) what could be better?
