Cerevo is showing a number of iOS-compatible devices, including Otto, a remote light dimmer and control switch, and the Smart Trigger remote trigger for DSLR cameras.
The Smart Trigger is a remote trigger that is set off by an app on the iPhone that enables the user to operate the camera’s remote shutter, take time-lapse photos and jump shots, using the iPhone’s built-in axel meter that detects when the user has jumped.
The trigger connects to the camera’s mic jack and talks to the iPhone wirelessly. It is projected to be released in February and will cost $99.
Otto is a hidden power strip and light dimmer system that is controlled by the iPhone or iPad.
Otto enables a user to control lights from either inside or outside a building, and is expected to be released this summer.
