Having previously shown off or announced most of its ruggedized speakers and matching headphones, Outdoor Technology spotlighted a ruggedized battery pack, two Turtle Shell series speakers, and a bunch of headphones—mostly previously debuted and/or OEM.

Kodiak Pack is a water-resistant, shockproof 6000mAh battery pack, protected thanks to a rubberized exterior.

Improved audio quality is the star feature of the $130 Turtle Shell 2.0, which looks extremely similar to the original version we've previously reviewed. It also uses Bluetooth 4.0 for 16 hours of run time, and is water-resistant.

  • Outdoor Technology

Big Turtle Shell ($230) is a giant-sized version of Turtle Shell with the same 16-hour play time, improved drivers, and rear handles for easier carrying. It's also water-resistant, and can be used as a power bank. Two colors are available, versus the larger array with Turtle Shell.
