Prior year Best of Show Award-winner Soundfreaq officially unveiled three new speaker systems at CES, as well as a number of new colors of its prior speakers. Pocket Kick is the smallest and most “new” of the designs; Sound Rise and Double Spot are inspired by prior-generation products.

  • Soundfreaq

Pocket Kick ($99) is a challenger to Jawbone's Mini Jambox at a much lower price, designed to bring the company's distinctive black metal and plastic aesthetic into a unit you can carry anywhere.

  • Soundfreaq

Double Spot ($119) is a version of the company's earlier Sound Spot with... two big drivers instead of one. Designed to be used at home, a compartment on its bottom lets you add a battery to it for $29 more.

  • Soundfreaq

Sound Rise ($69) is a rethinking of the Dock Connector-based alarm clock and speaker the company released last year, considerably smaller and now fully Bluetooth 4-based. It's every bit as handsome with a bit of sonic compromise, once again at a much lower price.
