I keep getting an error message which tells me that the software required to communicate with my iPod is not installed properly and that I have to reinstall iTunes to install the iPod’s software. What do I have to do?

In Windows 2000 and Windows XP, your iPod won’t be able to work if the iPod Service doesn’t load or conflicts with another service.
