You’re right. The iPod is a database driven player, not a directory driven player.  As such, it gets all of it’s information from the id3tags and not from any folder structure. You can’t [I]create[/I] folders on the iPod. You need to edit your tags and make sure they are correct.

Next: I have Audigy SoundCard with a SB1394 Firewire port.  My PC isn’t recognizing the iPod.  Why not?

Previous: I keep getting multiple Artists/Albums on my iPod.  I have five versions of “The Beatles”.  Why?
