Pelican ProGear Voyager for iPhone 5/5s

Made for the iPhone 5 and 5s, ProGear Voyager ($50) is the latest case from Pelican. Adhering to the company's lineage, the two-piece plastic and rubber case is heavily protective. Not only does it protect almost all of the iPhone's body, it also includes flaps over the ports, speaker, and microphone. Additionally, the case comes with a non-adhesive, reusable screen film and a belt clip that can double as a stand. ProGear Voyager is available exclusively through AT&T, and its online store.

Company: Flyover Innovations

Model: Blumoo

Price: $90*

Compatible: All iPads, iPhones, iPod touches (iOS 6.0+)

Flyover Innovations Blumoo

Flyover Innovations' Blumoo ($90*) is a new, compact home remote system that leverages iDevices to control TVs, stereos, and more; it adds wireless functionality to equipment without it. The hardware component is composed of the HomeBase with an integrated cable, a wall charger, and an audio cable. There's also a free app that goes along with the solution. Using Bluetooth 4.0, which allows for a 150' range, signals can be sent from your iPhone to the IR-blasting hardware. The setup for new devices is easy, with a step-by-step process that worked well in our early testing.

Company: Jabra

Models: Rox Wireless

Price: $130

Compatible: All Bluetooth-Capable iPods, All iPhones, iPads

Jabra Rox Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds

Although great, affordable Bluetooth earbuds have been available for almost a year now -- see Plantronics' BackBeat GO 2 as a good example -- the field of competitors hasn't grown as quickly as we might've expected. Jabra's Rox Wireless ($130) is one of the new options out there. The sleek earbuds use Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to iPads, iPhones, and iPods, streaming audio wirelessly. There's no hardware in between the left and right buds other than a microphone module; everything else is housed in the buds themselves. This includes a micro-USB port for recharging with the included cable. The battery is said to last for six hours of music streaming. You'll also get multiple ear tips and ear hooks with the headphones, as well as a carrying pouch.

Company: Kulaji

Model: Classic

Price: £30/~$50

Compatible: iPad mini

Kujali Classic for iPad mini

Although it appears to borrow heavily from other OEM-designed iPad cases we've seen over the years, Kujali's Classic for iPad mini (£30/~$50) is noteworthy for the company's charity aspect; we won't offer a full review, but want to mention the option. A "leather styled" folio -- it seems to be faux leather -- the case is lined with suede on the inside, and has an elastic handle on the interior of the front cover, along with two viewing angle ridges. The tablet is held in a two-piece shell on the right side. It first gets fitted into a thin rubber skin, which then goes into the hard plastic piece that's attached to the case. Button coverage is provided, as are flaps over the ports. For every case Kujali sells, it donates a mosquito net to charity, with the intention of protecting African children from malaria.
