Originally known as Podcast Studio, Belkin's new GoStudio ($120) offers iPod classic and iPod nano users the ability to record stereo audio with a sophisticated handheld mixing deck rather than the simple voice recorder attachments that have previously been released. Powered by two included AA batteries, Podcast Studio includes two integrated microphones and a built-in speaker, as well as inputs for XLR and mini-jack microphones, filter and limiter switches, separate gain controls for the mics, and volume knobs for the master volume and headphone monitors. It triggers the Voice Memos feature found in these iPod models, but doesn't support the recording functionality of iPod touch 2G and iPhone 3G devices.
