Billed as a "Smart Detection System" for radar, laser, and camera speed traps, Cobra's second-generation iRadar (aka iRAD 200, $130) has been redesigned from its predecessor, featuring a satin black and silver finish rather than the glossy black plastic original material. Regardless of whether you use it alone or pair it with an iOS device using Bluetooth, iRadar attaches to your car windshield or dashboard with included suction cups or Velcro pads, and is powered with an included car charger. It can operate in multiple modes to screen out false positives such as garage door openers, and provide audio alerts through its own speaker, with added benefits if you load Cobra's free iRadar app. The app provides access to a database of known and verified speed detectors, as well as greater control over alerts, and mapping features.
