Just when we thought we'd seen everything, Ozaki comes along and surprises us with yet another outside-the-box audio system. iUFO ($130) is a 9.25" black and chrome dish with speakers and an iPhone dock inside: the speakers are in a metal-grilled ring, and the dock is inside a second ring made of chromed plastic. The surprise is in the dock's versatility, as you can spin the iPhone on its side, prop it up vertically, or prop it up horizontally depending on what you want to do at a given moment. Video-out and auxiliary-in ports are on the back, along with a port for the power supply and a vent for the speakers. Volume buttons are on one side of the unit, with an included remote control used for power, menu navigation, and track control features. Ozaki says that other iPods are compatible with the iUFO dock, but inserts aren't included for them; an audio cable and power supply are the only other pack-ins. Wall power is required, as the system does not have a battery compartment.
