This iPod was inspired by the new tablet PCs with the pivoting screens. This way, the ipod's screen can, unless you choose to leave it exposed, be protected from the elements. "The hinge doesn't look sturdy, it may break off!" - the hinge is practically embedded in the plastic, and no one would leave the screen open. Everything else (i hope) is explained in the pics, as i am running out of room.
