iPhone Nano: Prime
This design addresses both the hardware and software needs of an iPhone Nano.
True to Apple's minimalist design aesthetic, this design forgoes the temptation to use a slider, opting instead for a refined and sleek one-piece body that fits perfectly into the iPhone product line. The iPhone Nano gives you everything you wish Apple had included with the original iPhone. New hardware features include a camera/videocam with zoom and flash, crisp stereo speakers, changeable battery and backplate, and a multi-functional clickwheel for in-pocket or one-handed on-the-go use. See the submission picture for a full run-down of new hardware improvements.
The most exciting change, however, is the operating system interface. The biggest obstacle with an iPhone Nano is dealing with the smaller screensize. Simply shrinking the existing OS is not a user-friendly option. This design introduces a fully re-designed OS tailored for the iPhone Nano. With completely new icons, a new hide-able dock, and an beautiful new "magnifying" multi-page menu, this concept truly embraces the iPhone Nano's smaller size and makes it an asset rather than a hindrance. See the submission picture for more details on the OS.
The iPhone Nano Prime comprises many new features that are not only creative and usable, but also realistic with current technology. This design offers a full set of essential features that Apple can build upon in subsequent iterations of their iPhone line of products.
All images (iPhone, OS, icons, accessories... etc.) used in the submission are original and created from scratch.
