When closed, it is compact and convenient for quick tasks. Opened half way, it serves as a small laptop with a digital keyboard. The screen on the now reverse can be used to share images, presentations, etc with others without having to turn the whole laptop around. Opened all the way, it serves as a single, large, flat workspace/viewing area.
