SwitchEasy PowerAmp

SwitchEasy’s PowerAmp ($50) is a compact charger with four USB ports that can be covered for their protection. Each port is labeled — there are two ports allowing for 1-2.3A output, one iPad port (up to 2.1A output), and one iPhone port (up to 1A). PowerAmp can deliver a total max output of 5.4A — do the math on which devices you’ll be able to charge at full speed simultaneously — and the charger uses “automatic device identification” to intelligently and efficiently charge your devices. The square charger also protects against overcharging and power surges, and its input support for 100V-240V ensures that PowerAmp is world travel friendly, presuming you have a proper plug adapter — a standard AC wall plug connector is included.

Scosche flatOUT LED

Scosche’s flatOUT LED ($20) is the second recent Lightning cable we’ve seen that uses a built-in LED to inform users if a iOS device is charging or fully charged. Unlike Just Mobile’s AluCable LED, which contains a small LED on the USB plug of the cable, flatOUT LED’s indicator is next to the Lightning plug side of the cable. A flat, tangle-free cable is another key part of the 3-foot flatOUT LED’s design.
