Logitech Rugged Combo Kids iPad Case

The iPad continues to make huge inroads into schools and other educational environments, but one obvious challenge faced by school administrators, particularly in grade schools, is the fact that the devices are still pretty fragile. Without a decent case, iPads need to be used under close supervision or risk frequent damage. This is where Logitech’s Rugged Case comes into play. Designed and marketed exclusively for classroom applications, the Rugged Case protects an enclosed iPad from drops as well as everyday wear and tear, surrounding it with a sturdy ribbed polymer frame that provides full button and port coverage and even extending the Lightning port, and can allow the iPad to survive drops from heights of up to 6 feet onto concrete.

DODOcase Leather Card Case for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus

DODOcase’s new Leather iPhone Case Card is an attractive low profile case for those who want an easy way to carry around a few cards with their iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus without adding too much extra bulk. A premium leather backing can include an optional monogram, and provides a card pocket that can accommodate up to four cards. The sides of the case are made from rubber that won’t crack, and while it doesn’t offer a ton of extra protection, it does provide a nice, solid grip on the otherwise slippery iPhone aluminum. Oddly, the iPhone 7 Plus version includes side button coverage, while the iPhone 7 version the side buttons exposed. The edges are also thin enough that the case can work with some docks, although the soft rubber means it’s also easy to take on and off when you need to.

Twelve South BookBook for iPad (Fifth-Generation)

We’ve long been fans of Twelve South’s style, and the company’s BookBook cases for iPhone and iPad devices are among the classiest we’ve seen. So we were quite pleased to see the company announce that its BookBook for iPad ($80) is fully compatible with Apple’s new fifth-generation iPad . Although we’re not entirely surprised — any non-fitted case for the original iPad Air should be able to handle the new iPad — it’s good to see companies taking the guesswork out of this by making it clear to their customers. BookBook for iPad is available in the same classic black and vintage brown colours ($80), or the special Rutledge Edition ($90).
