Hex’s new Radar collection features a water-resistant rip-stop exterior fabric, and we’ve received both the Radar Convertible Backpack ($100) and Radar Laptop Briefcase ($110). While we’ve seen these form factors from Hex before — the Convertible Backpack and Laptop Briefcase — the navy Radar look is both handsome and rugged. Both products feature black coated canvas trim and genuine zipper pulls.
Both items also allow for different carrying orientations: the backpack’s straps can be hidden under a back panel, for the bag to be carried by its top handles, and the briefcase can convert into a small backpack with its hidden-away straps.
Convertible Backpack can hold up to a 17” MacBook Pro in its padded laptop pocket. The main compartment has plenty of room for other items, including pens, cables, and it can even easily accommodate a 12.9” iPad Pro. A front pocket adds more storage, as well.
Laptop Briefcase is built to hold up to a 15” MacBook Pro. Again, a large iPad Pro can fit inside, too. Plenty of other pockets make it easy to transport an iPhone and any cables you’re hauling along.
