Apple launches weekly iPod shuffle giveaway for students

Apple has kicked of a new iPod shuffle giveaway for college students. “College life is random. We’re giving chance a chance and giving away an iPod shuffle every week through September 30, 2005. The iPod shuffle lets you carry your favorite iTunes and your essential files with you all over campus. So whether you are rockin’ the night away or pulling an all nighter, we want to give your life a random soundtrack.”

"These are all excellent points. One thing not mentioned was the stagnation of capacity for the whole iPod series. The capacity of the nano has been the same since the fourth generation, the 4GB shuffle is gone and the entry level iPod touch has stayed the same since it was first introduced in 2007. At this time all the devices should have double the capacity, especially the nano since the number of features were reduced."
