In tandem with today’s launch of Apple Music, the company has also pushed out an update to its GarageBand ($5) music creation software, with a tie-in that allows artists to now publish their tracks directly to the Apple Music Connect service, allowing jams and mixes in progress to be quickly shared with fans.
The update also adds ten new drummers encompassing a variety of electronic and hip hop styles, as well as over 100 EDM and hip hop-inspired synth patches for the new Transform Pad Smart Control.
Software instrument Smart Control movements can also be captured now for effect and tone adjustments, and 1,000 new Apple Loops have been baked in from a variety of popular instruments and genres.
