Let’s face it, even with more and more people using iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks, we’re not much closer to the vision of a paperless society — sometimes you just need hard copy. If that’s you, then Epson is still there for you, having just announced its latest compact multifunction home printer, the Expression Premium XP-7100.
This “small-in-one” printer is designed to provide great photo quality while being versatile enough to meet both the creativity and productivity needs of most families. It’s a five-color printer that can create vivid, borderless photos up to 8” x 10” and can handle an array of specialty paprs for all sorts of projects, and even DVD labels.
A 30-page Auto Document Feeder lets you quickly scan in tomes of paper to your digital library, or simply produce even more paper in the form of copies, and there’s full two-sided scanning support here too. The XP-7100 can also spit out 4” x 6” photos in as little as 12 seconds, and the ink technology is designed to ensure that the prints last, resisting smudges, scratches, water, and fading from light.
