Long an iLounge favorite for iOS, Frogmind’s Badland: Game of the Year Edition ($10) finally arrived on Mac last week. Originally released in 2013, the physics-based side-scroller has been updated with above full-HD visuals and totally reconfigured controls for the Mac.
The game provides about 15 hours of single-player action, flying your character through various traps, puzzles and obstacles across 100 levels. Up to 4 local players can also team up to tackle 100 multiplayer levels or go head-to-head in 27 battle levels.
All four players can play from a single keyboard or with any combination of keyboard and controllers. The redesigned game’s graphics support Retina displays and Game Center leaderboards will guarantee you bragging rights for that high score.
