STM Bags has been ramping up its product line over the past year. Not only has it added iPad and iPhone cases into the mix, but now it’s gotten into MacBook cases too. The new Grip ($50) comes in four sizes: 11” MacBook Air, 13” Air, 13” Pro, and 15” MacBook Pro with Retina display. Each hard shell comes in black, blue, or pink. 

Grip has the same texture as the iPad case of the same name: ridges run the entire length of the plastic. Like most MacBook shells, this one comes in two pieces that snap onto the top and bottom of the computer. It’s lined with microsuede to protect your machine, something we haven’t seen before.
