Though Power Support has come up with seemingly endless variations on its Air Jacket case for iPhone 3G and 3GS models, the latest one -- Titanium Air Jacket ($40) -- is yet another standout, as it offers more than just a trivial difference in coloration to justify its existence. Mimicking the company's early and innovative mirrored Illusion cases for iPods, the Titanium Air Jacket is a black mirror-finished shell with the same reflective characteristics as the prior Illusions, plus a set of two different screen protectors: one is an unusually easy to apply piece of mirrored film, the other a piece of anti-glare film if you prefer to have only one side of your iPhone 3G or 3GS serve as a reflector. Both surfaces are fingerprint magnets, and the Air Jacket continues to have the same general balance of protectiveness compromises as in prior iterations -- nothing on the top, nothing on the bottom, and holes for the side buttons, switch, and rear camera -- but there's no denying the sex appeal of this particular design -- it's very, very cool.
