Shinnorie Ringo Leather Pouch for iPod nano
By Jeremy Horwitz | 09.28.09

It's been almost four years since we've seen something new from Hong Kong-based Shinnorie, but what arrived today was interesting enough for us to take notice: the Ringo Leather Pouch for iPod nano ($TBD). We're not fans of sleeve- and flip-styled designs for touchscreen iPods and iPhones, and think they're ill-suited to heavy video users, but the cuteness of this particular case -- headphone pouch on front, iPod pouch on back -- is undeniable, and the ability of the nano-holding tab to double as an ejection mechanism for the device is actually an improvement on a similar feature found in Apple's old leather iPod cases. The matching detachable wrist strap and keyring are also nice touches. At the right price, and with similar customization options to what's offered by the company for the larger-sized iPhone version, this could be a winner for some users; the bigger one sells for $65.
