Piel Frama, makers of fine leather cases based in the south of Spain has released a new case for 30GB/40GB iPods. The Piel Frama case features a flip-lid design with two interior credit card slots, one money slot, soft leather lining, ABS insert (rigid case), access to all iPod functions, snap closure, detachable swivel belt clip and comes in three colors; black, tan and black/tan. The case can be purchased direct from PielFrama’s website and is priced at $59 or 50€. UPS express or TNT shipping costs are included in the price, and delivery time is noted at 30 days.
Lajo, the designer manufacturer of eXo and all www.lajo.biz distributors and resellers are compensating iPod owners for the launch delays of eXo by offering a 2 for 1 deal on every eXo purchased from now until November 1. This means that when you buy one eXo you can choose a second (free) eXo and both will be shipped complete with a TPU zip case, a screen protector and a belt clip.
Incase Designs has released an updated Folio case for new docking iPods at the online Apple Store. The new nappa leather Folio features a front flip-lid, access to all iPod functions, suede non-scratch lining, belt or strap attachment and FireWire protection plug. Although Incase has not yet updated its website with the new case, the Apple Store has it available for $29.95 and estimated shipping is 1-2 business days.
Today Griffin Technology announced that the new iTrip for 3G iPods is now shipping. “The new model ($35) improves upon its predecessor with an even sleeker body style, new power saving features and a red LED light to match the new iPods red backlight perfectly.” As reported earlier, Grifffin has also officially released over 100 new international frequencies for use on original and new iTrips.
DogCollarLabor has updated the ModPod iPod stand in multiple colors; translucent blue, glowing orange and glowing green. The ModPod stand is made from transparent Lucite, fits all iPod models and is priced at $14.95.
InventiveGadgets has emailed iLounge to inform its readers that they have “replaced Velcro with a polymer based ‘cling pad’ that holds the iPod in place without placing any foreign substance on the iPod.”
InventiveGadgets has released an iPod Holder for the car. The iPod Holder features a vertical steel stand with an angled platform, and mounts to the lower portion of the center console in your car using double-sided adhesive. The iPod is attached to the platform via adhesive Velcro dots. iPod Holder fits all iPod models, is available in black or white for $29.99, and fits most cars and SUVs. Also note that late model VW Passat owners do not need to use the adhesive mount, but can simply slide the stand into the center console.
Case Closed Bags in New York, makers of ‘fashionable, stylish, fun’ laptop and iPod cases is soon to release new 3G iPod cases. Their current line of classic iPod (non-docking) cases come in two distinct syles named Clarence and Sheldon. The Clarence case features a clear vinyl front, 3-D Hologram material inside and back, and a detachable swivel belt-clip. The Sheldon is a molded, rigid case featuring elastic sides and a detachable belt-clip. The Clarence case is priced at $29.95 and the Sheldon is $19.99.

Belkin has released a new all digital FM tranimitter at Apple Store online. The Digital transmitter features a coiled cord, LCD display, FM channels 88.1Mhz to 107.9Mhz, up to 8 hours of battery life on 1 AAA battery (included) and a 3-year Belkin warranty. The Digital FM Transmitter is priced at $39.99 and Apple esitmates shipping at 2-3 weeks. The transmitter is not yet listed on Belkin’s website. The Belkin Digital FM transmitter seems to be a rebadged FM transmitter also known as Audia X and Gruv X.
In the forums, iLounger ‘divine’ announced with a link to several photos that he received his new 3G iTrip on September 12. “Not sure why I got it so early. Like I said in the comments, my friend just ordered 2 from Griffin and they shipped it overnight.” He also posted a link to his UPS tracking information to prove to our readers that he did in fact receive it on Sept. 12.
iLounger Sean has informed us that Belkin has released the TuneDok to the general public and has posted information on its website. The TuneDok was the same iPod holder that was provided in the VW iPod connectivity kit for the ‘Pods Unite’ promotion, which has since expired. The iPod holder features ‘AirGrip’ technology (suction cup) for secure placement, a large and small rubber base plus adapter cup for exact fit in a cup holder, cable management system, and comes with a 3 year warranty. The TuneDok fits all iPod models and retails for $29.99.

XtremeMac has released the new Premium iPod Car Charger for 3G iPods which uses Apple’s proprietary dock connector. The charger features a single LED to indicate a power connection, removable fuse for current protection, diode protection for backflow current, impact resistant shell, integrated cable strain relief on both ends and a limited lifetime warranty. It’s available now for $19.95 or bundled in the Get Connected Kit for $49.95.
In the ongoing saga of when the new iTrip will actually ship, several iLoungers have received emails from Griffin Tech Support stating it would ship about the first or second week in October. Griffin gave no reasons for the delay.
