“I recently installed the Soundgate SNHOND3 into my brand new ‘04 Honda Accord EX V-6 so that I could use my iPod in the car. I’ve been using an FM transmitter for a long time in my old car and was tired of hearing static and trying to find stations that worked.
Here you will find step-by-step, picture-filled instructions on how to install the SNHOND3 unit into your ‘03 or ‘04 Accord. They are identical installations.”

All that work, and ruined by using headphone out
Plug the miniplug into the belkin autokit, all hidden away, and just plug in the belkin into the Line Out. It will be better quality, and with charging too!
Other than that, nice wiring, and nice tutorial.

I think that was kind of a waste of your time bro, you could have bought the Dennison thing that plugs into the cd changer controls. I have one for my old ### ‘94 toyota tercel and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done to that car than installing a decent head unit.

I installed the Soundgate SNHOND3 (http://shop.store.yahoo.com/logjam/sounsnhond3.html) into my 2004 Honda Accord 6 disc internel changer with XM radio using the Honda splitter P/N 08A31-0F1-000 that the site states will work to use both with the one port on the back of the unit. You can get the splitter at your local Honda dealer. I had to call two places before I found the one that had it. It is about $50. The problem is that the setup doesn’t work without a further modification. You need to add a switch to the Honda splitter. If you do not, your XM signal is faint at best with the volume at 100%. I am waiting for Logjam to send me the instructions that will make my setup complete. Right now I have great sound from my iPod but no XM. Once the switch is spliced in, then I should have both working properly.
Also included in this set up is a ground loop isolator from Radio Shack to take out engine noise and other audio pollution and a Belkin charger for my 15 GB iPod.
My installation is simular to this one (http://distantcreations.com/accordipod/) except the Belkin plug to the iPod carries the audio signal so I have one connection to play audio and charge.
