Report: iPhone 5S screen production to begin in June

Mass production on the screen for the new iPhone, likely the iPhone 5S, will reportedly begin in June. The “liquid crystal panel” will be produced by Sharp, LG Electronics, and Japan Display, according to a report from Japan’s Nikkan (translated link). The report notes the display’s specifications are “close” to the iPhone 5, suggesting the new version could be slightly different than the current display, though no further details are given.
