Apple confirms iTunes films for Europe in ‘07
Apple’s Vice President for Europe, Pascal Cagni, confirmed plans to offer films on the iTunes Store in Europe before the end of the year during an interview with French business publication Les Echos. Cagni also confirmed a fourth quarter launch of the iPhone in Europe, as well as future plans for an Apple retail store in Paris, France. In addition, he revealed that Apple has plans for approximately 70 sales outlets to appear in larger retail stores in Europe by the end of 2007.

What about TV shows AND Movies? Give me a reason to dish out some money on an AppleTV.
While I’m on this rant, why not drop the prices, since our Canadian $ is getting stronger!

Take it up with the studios and the networks which own the content.
They dictate which countries get what, not Apple.

Don’t hold your breath for TV shows to be offered to Canadians. It’s not the studios or Apple’s fault. It’s the Canadian networks and the CRTC that’s holding us back. I don’t know what’s holding back the movies though…
But yea, I’d be VERY surprised if a deal was struck any time soon for us Canadians.
