Apple discontinues 4th-gen iPad; keeps iPad 2, 1st-gen mini

During today’s Apple event, Apple announced it would be discontinuing the fourth-generation iPad, and keeping the second-generation iPad in its lineup. The iPad 2 stays the same price, starting at $399 for the least expensive model. Apple also announced the original iPad mini would remain in its lineup, with its price now starting at $299 for the base model.
