Apple: iPhone apps OK, no Bluetooth, Games in iPod touch

According to a report from PC Magazine’s Gearlog blog, Apple has decided not to interfere with third-party iPhone application development—for now. Discussing the state of iPhone application development with Apple Vice President for iPod Product Marketing Greg Joswiak, the report claims that Apple is taking a “neutral stance” on applications for the device, whereby the company will not stop people from writing software or release software updates designed to break the software, but it also won’t design software updates to avoid accidentally breaking such applications, either. Joswiak also suggested that the company may re-evaluate this position in the future.
The report also states that the upcoming iPod touch does not include Bluetooth hardware, contrary to certain initial images that circulated around the Internet shortly after the device’s launch, and confirmed that games are not coming for the iPod touch “right now.”

With the recent announcement of Altec Lansing’s new Bluetooth speaker system, it’s a shame it won’t work with the iPod touch (at least not wirelessly).

Now no Bluetooth, what’s left but a really expensive 16GB iPod. Don’t get me wrong, it’s freakin cool, but why pay that much for something that will certainly increase in storage size in the next 6 months??

How would you play them with out the scroll wheel? Like in the past? Unless you had some kind of control left, right, up and down like a game pad control on the screen that would move things around when playing. That would be awesome.

what is the use of iphone which dosent support bluetooth…...from 3rd party

Prior to buying my Bluetooth I checked with my service provider and the qualifying phone from BlueAnt.
Neither has any answer to why I cannot pair my iphone4 with this bluetooth.
I read over and over again that Apple is not going to support Bluetooth but that is not what the manual said.
Can you please tell me how to resolve my issue.
