Apple Launches iPod-a-Day Giveaway

“From November 28 to December 24, we’ll be giving away a 10GB iPod every day. Download iTunes and create a new iTunes Music Store account, and you’ll be automatically entered* into our daily drawing. Once you create an account, your name remains eligible until December 24, so the earlier you sign up, the more chances you have to win.”

Very strange. You can’t mail a 3” x 5” card in the US mail. The minimum size for a post card according to US postal regulations is 3-1/2” x 5”.

Wonder if they’ll accept it if it’s in an envelope?

So I guess if you live outside of what I like to call “Earth’s Toilet”, you’re screwed….as usual. :-/ ffs!

Kirara - I know how you feel - I was in the same boat.  I’ve since decided to upgrade to XP (something I kicked around for a while but iTunes was the final motivator) and iTunes is an excellent program.  If you own an iPod, it is even better. I remember hearing people say that the syncing process was so great with iTunes and didn’t know what they meant - Now I do - It rocks!

Anyway, you can get a ME-to-XP upgrade for under $100, and Christmas is right around the corner…

I signed up my wife.  :-)  She was glad to oblige, since I’m such an iPod and Apple fanatic.

Now, that’s love.  ;-)

OF COURSE YOU NEED TO BE A U.S. RESIDENT. Why would you register for a store where you are unable to purchase. And why would Apple give away an incentive to one who could not become a customer?

You foreigners need to get over this. You’ll get a music store when the RIAA or whomever oversees music copyright in your country comes to an agreement with them. Maybe your country will never get it or maybe your market is not big enough to warrant the investment on Apple’s part.
