Apple Pay lauches in Ireland

Apple has launched Apple Pay in Ireland, making it the 14th country to adopt the mobile payment service and the first new addition this year. As of today, users who bank with Ulster Bank and KBC can now add their credit or debit cards to Apple Pay. Users of Wirecard’s Boon prepaid MasterCard can also add those cards to Apple Pay. Apple has long-standing business ties to Ireland, headquartering its international operations in the country.
