Apple plans after-Thanksgiving sale
Apple will once again this year host an after-Thanksgiving sale at its online and brick-and-mortar stores. The one-day event, which Apple is calling “The feast after the feast,” will take place on Friday, November 25. “Come back to the Apple Store on the day after Thanksgiving for a special one-day-only holiday shopping event,” reads a note on Apple’s website. “You’ll find dozens of great gift ideas for everyone on your list, and you’ll get free shipping on all items.” Last year’s sale saw $20 price reductions on iPods, as well as discounts on iPod accessories, iMacs, digital cameras and more.

Twenty bucks off an iPod is not enough to get me out there in the crowds. If I’m gonna fight the masses, I’m going to Wal-Mart…Target…Best Buy…Staples…for the real deals.

Ah, yes, Walmart on Black Friday. Go and watch people who can ill afford it spend 6000% of their income on toys for the tots. It’s really quite ridiculous and sad.

Educational discount?! I am still wondering about this sale. Apple products only or what? Need an answer ASAP. Please. With a cherry on top.

Last year, there were non-Apple products that were discounted. I know they marked down On-stage and some other speakers.
The discounts were not across the board just on select products.
I think they post the savings on Thanksgiving Day so you can look online before deciding to go down the store.

Brick and Mortar stores? what are these like wal-mart and target and stuff? When you use the student discount do you have to really go to that school or do they actually check up on that?

Thanks AF. Brick and Mortar (I believe) means the actual Apple Stores. Not little kiosks, not Target, Best Buy, nor Circut City.

All “sale” prices on web site are identical to starting prices.
