Apple plans special event next week
Apple appears to be set to introduce an all-new iPod next week as the company will hold a special event at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. Apple has used similar events in the past to make such major announcements.
In an invitation sent to select media, including iLounge, Apple hints that it will unveil a significant new product at the event. The invitation reads in part: “1000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again.” The slogan “1000 songs in your pocket” was first used by Apple when the original 5GB iPod was introduced in 2001.
The invitation-only event will take place on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m. iLounge will be in attendance to bring you coverage.

Tomorrow!!! Freakin’ tomorrow!!!! Woooo!!!!
I have been holding off getting a replacement for my dearly departed 3G Pod for months now, so I can’t wait. The chances are, it’ll be the 5G iPod, but as for video, Stevies Jobs has said in the past that he doesn’t wan’t to watch video on a small screen. My guess, prob. a video iPod (yay), but in terms of revolutionary, it could be a Game thing (ala PSP), as this is a strong market, with hardware ans softwear companies alike, and is something Apple isn’t into yet...... Maybe.

Well… It’s 10AM here in Brazil and I’m in hell on Earth…
After more than a year waiting, finally a friend went to the States and I asked him to buy me a 60gb iPod.
Now he’s there, september 7 is here, I have no way to communicate with him and have no idea whether he has already purchased it or not and no way to tell him to wait until the 8th.
OMG this event HAS got to be something relating to anything BUT the iPod Photo. I will die of techno-lust frustration!!!
