Apple posts free iTunes video section
Apple has created a new page on the iTunes Music Store that compiles all of the available free TV show downloads. The section currently offers 14 videos from a variety of networks. Highlighted shows include “Blade: The Series,” “Project Runway,” “30 Days,” “Psych,” “Prison Break,” “Who Wants to Be a Superhero?” and “Tabloid Wars.” [via TUAW]

What I want to know is - When will the UK be able to start downloading tv episodes? Whats the point in selling a video iPod without being able to download content for it?

It’s about time. I like that I can sample these shows without having to spend money on them, just to see if I like them.

Was on the iTunes Store seconds before i read this and noticed it, Glad they added this, as it was tedious to browse through the TV Sections lookign for the Free Show Downloads.

It’s the studios and networks which control access for people outside the US.
Because you know they have deals with people for distribution rights in other countries.

Prison Break is possibly the best show that was on last season. Definitely download at least the pilot episode to try it out. I think you’ll be hooked.
