Apple posts iPod nano TV commercial
You can now download and watch the new iPod nano television commercial, which was first shown during Steve Jobs’ presentation at Apple’s special event last week. A departure from the company’s long-running silhouette ads, the new spot features nothing but hands and the new iPod nano along with the tagline “1000 songs. Impossibly small.” The ad has been receiving heavy rotation on network and cable TV since the nano was introduced.

Does anyone else have a problem with this url? Quicktime 7 produces and error and crashes Firefox and IE as soon as the video starts playing.

I can’t load any Quicktime 7 movies on my Firefox browser without it crashing. I’m starting to think it’s not Firefox compatible.

Who is the target demographic? Is this commercial trying to reach someone new? I’m seeing this as the baby boomer type audience since it’s not really a hip ad.

Apple has posted the iPod nano commercial. Now if they would only post a working version of iTunes 5 for Windows (on all their servers)—or just release 5.1 (with Quicktime 7) and make sure they both completely work with no crashes or bugs/glitches (and no Bonjour—Bonjour is unnecessary) before they put them out that would be great.

Saw this at the press thing Jobs gave last week and am a little dissappointed with the ad as I don’t think it really illustarets how small it is.

firefox crashes it on me too.
found a workaround though:
open quicktime, hit open URL and copy/paste this:
http://images.apple.com/movies/us/apple/ipod_nano/gimme_that-30s/Apple-iPod_nano-30s_h480.mov
all should be good.
