Apple posts new iTunes commercial

Apple has posted its latest iPod + iTunes commercial. The new ad features Mary J. Blige performing the song “Work That” from her upcoming album Growing Pains. The ad follows the artistic style of previous iPod ads, featuring a slight silhouette effect in front of a brightly colored, shimmering background. The ad is available for viewing now on Apple’s iTunes page, under the “Featured on iTunes” heading.

Saw this last night during Monday Night Football.  Funny that they still use white iPods when no white color option is available on any of the new models.

I’m done with the silhouettes campaign.  They really need to come up with a new one.

I think those silhouette campaigns are cool, especially this one since it’s the only Apple ad which focuses on the Classic lineup that I’ve seen for a while.

The song is kind of addicting.

It’s newsworthy to let people know, so they have a lil entertainment.

How else are we supposed to know Apple has a new ad!?

Why else do we come to an iTunes/iPod/iPhone based site, if not to hear about the lastest updates!?

Apple should spend less time on advertising and more time making sure iTunes and Quicktime run PROPERLY.

This commercial is effective and stunning. Theyre not going to change theyre white iPod and silhouette feature because thats the icon they have built on.
You see those two things, boom its an apple commercial. McDonalds is never going to change theyre commercials, neither should apple. This commercials contrast of gold and black, with swirls and designs is eye catching. The song is addicting and pretty good, and by an artist that is pretty iconic herself now.

If you have problems with Quicktime you probably have a PC so you should be used it it by now.
