Apple releases iOS 7.0.2

Apple has released iOS 7.0.2 for all iOS devices — unlike the previous iOS 7.0.1 update, which was only for the iPhone 5c and 5s. The release fixes bugs that could allow someone to bypass the Lock Screen passcode.

Also included in the update is a Greek keyboard option for passcode entry. It’s available for download now through the Software Update screen under Settings.

I installed the update and you can still bypass the lock screen.

I want to update my iPhone 5 (6.1.4) to the latest iOS.  However I have an iPhone 5S on order that should ship in 7-14 days from AT&T but I don’t know if it will come with iOS 7 or one of the updates.  Should I hold off updating my current phone until I know what version my 5S will come with?

I installed 7.0.2 on my iPhone and can no longer find the function to search the whole phone.  I used to be able to enter a name and the phone would generate a list of all references in the phone to that name, categorised by Contacts, email, Meaages, etc.  Where has the function gone?  Originally, I just slid the screen over to the right and there it was.

@3:  Spotlight search is alive and well, just a different way to get to it.  Instead of pressing the Home button, now pull down anywhere on the screen (but not too high, otherwise you bring up the Notification Center).
