Apple has released iTunes 11.1.4, which adds the ability to let a user see the Wish List while viewing the iTunes library. The update also offers improved support for Arabic and Hebrew. Additional stability improvements are also included. The newest version of iTunes can be downloaded through OS X’s Mac App Store/Software Update, the Check for Updates option within iTunes, or from iTunes.com.

Back up before this update especially if you are using Win 7 64 bit. Apple discussions very active with all kinds of issues on doing auto update. Good solution posted there though.

Beware of this update! I have had nothing but trouble since downloading and have had to spend a lot of time fixing things that Apple missed! Shame on them, we need Steve to come haunt his employees and scream at them like the days of old…

Meanwhile, the issue of disappearing playcounts continues to be solemnly ignored by Apple despite all the complaints from desperate users in discussion forums for almost a year now.

I have made several attempts to update from 11.1.3.8 but cannot get 11.1.4 to install on my Win 7/64 PC. I’ve had to perform a System Restore after every attempt.  11.1.3.8 run fine after the Restore.  Will avoid this update and wait for a fix.
