What is a touch? Or an application?
I dont understand what itunes are, is that just apple’s name for mp3s?
Isnt downloading music illegal?
I want to buy an ipod but think I will be selling out to big corporations if I do. They are no better than normal mp3 players, no?
Argh! Confused!

Hello. Anybody else have this problem after installing iTunes 7.7: my Touch and Classic will not sync. As soon as I connect either one iTunes stops responding and freezes. I still have iTunes 7.6 on my other computer and there are no problems syncing with that version. Any advice?

Having the same problem re: iTunes locking up when I connect my iPod Touch (running iTunes 7.7 and iPod Touch 2.0). Two things I’ve noticed:
1) If there is NO MUSIC on the iPod, it syncs w/out a problem.
2) If there is music on the iPod, and I plug it in BEFORE opening iTunes, it only locks up for about 10 seconds but does eventually sync. If I plug the iPod in while iTunes is already running, it seems to lock up permanently (or at least longer than a couple minutes).
No offense, but frankly I’m glad to hear that other people are having this problem and it’s not just me. Hopefully it’ll be fixed quickly with an update.
