Apple has released Software 1.0.2 for the fourth-generation iPod nano. Notable in that Apple has apparently skipped over version 1.0.1, the update offers “support for the 4th generation iPod nano,” according to Apple’s release notes. In our brief checks, we found a small typographical error that has been fixed, but no obvious major changes. Software v.1.0.2 for the fourth-generation iPod nano is available now through the update feature in iTunes.

This seems like one of the quickest updates to a newly released iPod too that I can remember.
