Apple today announced that it sold its one millionth iPhone yesterday, 74 days after the product’s introduction on June 29. “One million iPhones in 74 days-it took almost two years to achieve this milestone with iPod,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “We can’t wait to get this revolutionary product into the hands of even more customers this holiday season.” Apple last week announced a $200 price drop on the iPhone, bringing its price down to $399.

That’s fantastic. If I wasn’t under contract to Sprint for 8 more months, I probably would’ve bought one this past week.

Awesome. I have been really considering it after the price drop. I have another year on my contract to Sprint as well...so that’s keeping me from taking the plunge. My biggest concern is my change from a Treo to the iPhone. I’m just concerned that I would be disappointed as I’m used to my Treo and I know there’s functionality differences that I rely upon.
