An Australian court has temporarily banned Samsung from selling its new Galaxy Tab 10.1 Android-powered tablet in the country. According the Associated Press, the ruling prevents Samsung from selling the device in Australia in its current form until a further court order, or until the lawsuit is resolved. The ruling will likely prevent Samsung from launching the product in time for the lucrative holiday sales season, barring a settlement between the two companies, which seems a tenuous suggestion at best. Apple and Samsung are currently engaged in various suits against one another in Australia, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, the U.K., and the U.S.
