Atomic Floyd, a new U.K.-based premium headphone and earphone maker, has introduced its new TwistJax AcousticSteel in-ear earphones. The TwistJax earphones feature a unique Twist 2 Fit system that allows the user to rotate the portion of the earphone that enters the ear canal for a better fit, and are made from Acoustic Steel, a special injection molded metal that is heat treated in order to create thinner walls, maximizing the volume of the acoustic chamber for improved sound. In addition to the TwistJax, the company also plans to offer full range of headphones, including the AirJax, AirDrum, HiDefJax, and HiDefDrum. The Atomic Floyd TwistJax earphones will be available in December; pricing has yet to be announced.

UK pricing for the airjax is £120 or roughly 184 dollars, from what i gather. If they sound as impresive as they look i will deffinitely be picking up a pair.

******DO NOT PURCHASE A SET OF ATOMIC FLOYD’S*****
I purchased a set of earphones from the Atomic Floyd website in January.
Within 6 weeks the sound cut in and out from both speakers and I emailed Atomic Floyd requesting a refund.
The UK dispatcher initially replied stating that they normally offer replacements but for a refund he would have to check with the founder and come back to me.
After 3 weeks of me chasing for an update by email, I have heard no response.
This company are a joke and once they have your money, you are left with a set of earphones that will almost definitely break (due to the ‘cord to straight jack’ design).
Although the website suggests that they are a UK company (prices advertised in Sterling), they appear to be Hong Kong based and there is no ‘real’ customer support.
What a waste of £85

Best phones I’ve ever had, and I’ve had most of them. Very clear, a real joy, I prefer listening to them than my Beolab 3 connected to an iPod. A bargain on that basis.

Hey mate,
I just read your post,
Actually i do have the HiDefJax from Atomic Floyd & they are amazing,
Moreover, there is plenty of Brand that will never refound you & specially after 6 Weeks!!!! (the legal refound is 7 Days, from a online purchase),
However i may understand the frustration that you have after a new purchase, however go for the exchange man, the sound is amazing!!!!!!
