UK-based PodGear today introduced the AudioBuddy, a fully retractable audio link cable for the iPod. The £14.99 Dock Connector to 3.5mm mini-jack cable extends to over 70 cm (about 28 inches) and retracts at the push of a button, giving iPod users “portability without having to worry about tangled cables.” Audiobuddy also ships with a mini-jack to stereo (RCA) adapter. The cable is available immediately.

the AudioBuddy is exactly what I’ve been looking for ... a simple dock-to-lineout cable so I can use my iPod with my iPAL radio on the go ...
pity that. even though it’s “available immediately”, none of the dealers listed in their “where to buy” section actually stock it.
