AudioOutfitters announces earPod

picAudioOutfitters has announced the earPod storage device for iPod earphones. The earPod features a felt-padded compartment, a spool for wrapping the cable around, a slot for feeding the cable through, a place to clip the iPod Remote Control on either side, and comes with the eClip for clipping to belt, pocket, etc. The earPod will be available at the end of July 2004 for $11.99. You can reserve your earPod without payment at the website.

this is a useless product, there’s the one that ipodlounge used to advertise a while back (looks like a little rubber piece that lets you wrap the wire around and secure)

why are you all complaining, you filled out some survays? We dont beta test and market test to get free crap, we do it for the betterment of the industry. They stated their results that most people wanted this product and thats enough for them to make it.

You should be happy that they are even offering you their product at a reduce rate. They sure dont have to.

Those who are complaining about the price of the unit obviously have no idea of the upfront tooling costs that are involved. I reserved mine,the unit makes sense to me. I am always trying to figure out where to clip the remote and how to hide the wires.
