Aviiq rolls out Portable Charging Station for iPad, iPhone, iPod

Aviiq has rolled out its new Portable Charging Station for the iPad, iPhone, iPod, and other USB charging devices. Weighing in at less than a pound, the Charging Station is designed to be carried within its own included travel sleeve that features multiple pockets for organizing and carrying cords and a zip closure. Features include the ability to charge three devices simultaneously from one wall outlet, up to 15W of output, an integrated, pass-through USB cable for syncing one device while it charges, and nylon and ABS plastic construction. Aviiq’s Portable Charging Station is available now and sells for $80.

I am intrigued by this product, but what I am put off by is the complete lack of technical specs. Four USB ports and 10W hypothetical output on “one of the four” ports doesn’t mean squat if the battery capacity isn’t up to actually charging an iPad or a couple of touches on the go, because otherwise, all you’ve got is a rather glorified USB hub with an AC adapter for $80.
