Bang & Olufsen outs EarSet 3i earphones

Bang & Olufsen has outed its new EarSet 3i earphones for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad. Built upon the company’s existing EarSet 3 earphones, the 3i feature a brushed aluminum and soft-touch rubber design, dynamic, full tone loudspeakers mounted on telescopic bars, and an inline three-button remote and mic. Bang & Olufsen’s EarSet 3i earphones for the iPod, iPhone, and iPad will be available in B&O stores and online; pricing has yet to be announced.

Maybe it was one of those products “in the closet” for so long that B&O felt compelled to “out it”.
We could always ask Perez Hilton or Matt Dredge for confirmation.
Big question though, will it be under or over $500? This is B&O, after all.

I have to admit that I’ve always liked the looks of that B&O stuff, but man, it can be expensive. I am willing to bet these will probably run around $300 or so. How much is the existing EarSet 3? I would imagine these will probably be around the same or just slightly more expensive due to the addition of the mic and remote.
My experience is that as nice as this B&O stuff looks, you can often get better sound for cheaper. In my case, I’ll probably stick with my trusty ol’ stand-by - Klipsch!
