i hope students at duke university protested that “ipod’s to freshmen” thing. If your college can afford to give freshmen ipods, then you’re probably getting screwed on tuition.

So Belkin sells a million accessories and as a thank you, it gives free stuff to people that didnt even buy their ipods? Wow thats cool.

I agree with D-Tang. The actual customers of their products should benefit. This publicity stunt really has no benefit to someone who really wants their product.

Im not going to hate because people got some free ipods…id take a free ipod any day. But if Duke thinks the ipod is going to stimulate any creative uses of technology, thev’ve got another thing comin’.
Wish my college hooked it up with a free ipod.

“Belkin will donate 1,650 Voice Recorders to Duke University’s incoming freshmen”. It seems that it meant to say that Duke freshman are not getting the new 4 Gen ipods. Current Belkin voice recorder for ipod only work with Dock Conn. Ipod not mini and Click-wheel ipods. Do you know if Belkin has new voice recorder that will work with Click-wheel ipod and mini?

Yes, the Belkin Voice Recorder does work with the 4G iPod (“supports iPods with dock connector”), but not with the mini.
